Am I not motivation enough?

This week was awesome!  We had district council with President and Sister Olsen and it was so fun!  I gave a training on motivation through our faith in Christ.  It went awesome!  I shared an experience I had a couple of months ago where I was praying for motivation and I heard a voice as clear as day say "Am I not motivation enough?" It hit me like a ton of bricks.  After I told the story in district council, it was dead quiet and President Olsen said that as I was telling the story, he looked out the window and could have sworn he saw Jesus with little children around him and how they all loved him and worshipped him.  So that was cool!!

President Olsen asked Elder Ngatikaura and myself to go over to Bornholm for a few days to touch base with the members there and to do some contacting.  I’m super excited about it!  Bornholm is a little Danish island just below Sweden so we’re headed out on a 6 hour ferry ride at midnight on Tuesday.  I’ll let you all know how it went next week!

Have a great week everyone!!  Love you all and keep on keeping on.

To all the moms!

Hello everyone! Sorry I skipped last week but I'll make it up with this week.  This has been a fantastic week and a lot of fun.

We had lessons with a number of members and a couple of non member friends.  We taught about faith as a general topic this week and it was awesome.  It's only after our faith gets tested that we grow our faith and we come closer to God in our lives.

This week Elder Ngatikaura and I were playing basketball and for some reason we were off.  Really off.  We couldn't make a shot and we were laughing our guts off at everything!!  I'm really starting to get rusty out here with basketball but it's all good hahah!!

In honor of Mother's Day last Sunday, I wanted to say how grateful I am for my mom and the example she has always been to me.  I read in Moroni 7:47 about charity and I think it sums up my mom perfectly.  She is one of the most charitable and loving people I know.  I'm grateful for all my grandmothers, my mom, and all the other awesome "moms" in my life!

I love you all have a great week and stay safe!!  Try to grow spiritually every day this week :)

PS: I have to give a shout out to my little bro (Nick) who got his mission call to Melbourne Australia, Chinese speaking. So cool!  I'm excited for him to join me in the mission field in August!!
