Effort

Hey guys! This week was super good!  I got transferred into a new area and it has been awesome.  We have been working hard and having a ton of fun.  The ward is super nice here and we already have a couple eating appointments so that's a bonus!  On Thursday, my original MTC group had to go to Copenhagen to take a test to let us stay in the country for another year so it was good to see all of them.  We all passed so we can stay :)

My spiritual thought this week is on effort.  As I was thinking about it and talking to my dad about it, it hit me that whenever I have been working my hardest is when I'm the happiest.  The Lord rewards effort!!  Sometimes it can be hard to start, but just do it.  No matter the amount of effort, give YOUR best.  The Lord loves you all!  Remember the goodness of God.

Love you all!

Goodbye Nykøbing Falster

Hey everyone!

This week was a good one! I got transferred to an area called Slagelse with another Australian elder, Elder Appleby!  I'll miss Elder Ngatikaura, but I'm excited to serve with Elder Appleby!  Slagelse is the biggest city that I've served in so far.  It'll be my first ward too!  It's a small ward but bigger than a branch so I'll take it.  I'm excited to meet the members and spread the word to more Danish souls.

My spiritual thought this week is about charity :)  Charity is the true love of Christ. That means that it is a perfect love!  I've tried to learn how to have charity on my mission and I'm still learning.  In 1 Nephi 19:9 it talks about how Jesus would be beaten, spit on, and many other things and he took it without hating those people, and then when Jesus was on the cross he loved the people enough to ask the Father to forgive them, for they knew not what they did.  Super powerful.  Christ loves you more than you could ever understand.  Heavenly Father loves you more than you could ever understand.  This week try to be more charitable to each other, and help those in need :)

P.S. shout out to my brother Nick for entering the home MTC!  He is such a stud and a great example. Love you bro!

Viking Burial Ground

Hey everyone! This week was super good. We had splits, district council, and a branch activity.  We got to see a viking burial ground at the activity which was cool and we also ate some good food.  It's been like 90 degrees here which feels like murder because it's humid and there is no air conditioning anywhere hahah!!  It's funny because they have issued a level two weather advisory because Danish folk aren't use to this kind of heat.

My spiritual thought for the week is to study the Atonement and ponder what Christ has done for you.  I can promise you as you do this, the spirit will be present and will testify to you that Christ did atone for the world.  I love you all!!  Have a great week!

Danish Bball

Hey everyone!  Sorry I didn't write last week.  This week has been good :)  It's always fun when you get to serve and help people!

Last week we had the all elders conference and it was so much fun!  We did some work then played a whole bunch of sports and it was awesome.  It was great to see all of my buddies in the mission!

We had a finding activity with my district and it was super fun!  It is always good to be with other missionaries and learn from them.  We also went on splits with other missionaries and that was a great time.

My spiritual thought this week is about faith.  We shared a spiritual thought with a member that was really cool!  We talked about how faith requires action.  A lot of times we think that by just having faith alone that a lot of things will happen.  We need to do our part also :)  God loves you all and Christ loves you too!  Have a great week :)

The mission has set up a Facebook page to share with the Danish people and so we each make a video to post on the page. Here's my video :)

PS: I'm saying... "no matter how many times we make mistakes, we can keep trying because of Jesus Christ. Send us a message if you want to learn more"
